Simply put, I am running to make a difference... The County has a massive budget, which is partially funded by the property tax dollars we all pay. I want to make certain our dollars are being used wisely.
As an active member of SEMCOG (DH alternate, Finance & Budget; EPAC Committees) I work with other municipalities to find regional solutions to our problems that benefit all of our communities.
I encourage and support accountability in all levels of government, and insist upon it in my community. I have worked as a Tax accountant and a Financial Advisor.
I believe I have the financial acumen, keen public relations skills, and a genuine concern for the future of Wayne County and our State. These attributes will guide me in making responsible, intuitive, and caring choices for all of us as the next Wayne County Commissioner in District 9.
